Link Building & Link Popularity:
Link Popularity (often referred to as Link Juice) is basically
an evaluation of the incoming links to a web page both from other
pages on the same web site and from other web sites. It’s
an important factor in search engine rankings. Search engines look
for other web sites/pages that include links to the pages on your
site as an indicator of how “important’ your web site
is.
As Google explains, “Google interprets a link from page A
to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B”.
Link Building is the practice of getting quality web sites to mention
and link to pages on a web site in order to increase targeted traffic
to the site from referral sites, increase brand awareness, and improve
search engine rankings

301 Permanent Redirect: A method
of pointing domain names or URLs to other domain names or URL’s
that lets search engines know it's a permanent redirection. Search
engines may then give Link Popularity credit for any incoming links
to these domains and pages to the domain and URL’s pointed
to.
